Located just 3km east of Melbourne’s CBD, Yarra Street provides a decadent yet effortless lifestyle for the modern family or established professional. VDG acquired the prime real estate on Yarra Street as a joint venture with the land owner. After inheriting the existing permit, VDG negotiated to subdivide the property into 4 lots. The approved subdivision included two street frontages on either side, eliminating the need for body corporate.

Our experienced team of in-house designers, architects and planners then navigated the complex local and state legislation to propose a plan which improved the function and design of the existing permit and maximised the construction potential of the subdivided lots. These changes included improving the open-plan design and flow between spaces. From design and construction to fit out and interiors, VDG left a signature of luxury and quality craftsmanship in every stage of the project.

With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a two-car garage and spacious living area in each townhouse, these properties are an ode to the contemporary Australian family. This ambitious framework saw VDG manage the project from changing the planning designs, permit and subdivision, right through to construction, interior design and completion.

VDG envisioned a home that was an artistic masterpiece yet also a serene retreat. This careful amalgamation of old and new includes industrial-inspired feature lighting, polished timber flooring and dark accents through the property.
